We invite all Year 6 students of our district to attend our Transition Program, designed to allow students to experience life at Gilroy Santa Maria College, familiarise themselves with the College's facilities, and meet staff and other students. Transition mornings will be held on the following dates:
- Friday 17 May (Term 2) - Meet & Greet
- Friday 14 June (Term 2)
- Friday 2 August (Term 3)
- Friday 23 August (Term 3)
Program Schedule:
- Arrive by 8:30am* - Students attend the registration tent
- 8:45am to 11:00am - Rotation of activities in Year 6 groups
- 11:00am to 11:30am - Morning tea (provided)
- 11:30am - Students return via bus to primary schools
* Students are to be dropped off at M Block ... turn right as you enter the College grounds and follow the road past the Administration building. Your child may also catch their regular bus to the College.
Please note that all students will be dropped back to their respective primary schools by bus at 11.30am. If you plan to collect your child, please sign them out from the College Office.
Our Parent Information Session at Gilroy on Show will be held on Thursday 29 August and advertised closer the date.
More information regarding the Orientation Day at the end of Term 4 will be forwarded at a later date.
